Dark ripe fruit, vivid freshness plus fine tannins make varietal characteristics of this Teran. It has a deep purple color and smells of ripe black cherries and prunes. Complex, but not complicated, it is perfectly paired with barbeque and blue fish.

Medium intense on the nose, showing an interplay of primary aromas including red and black fruits as well as a nice spicy notes. There is both, freshness, and ripeness. Black cherries, ripe red cherries, plums, black pepper are just few of the aroma association. Really poised. Following a new style started with vintage 2019. Dry on the palate, medium bodied with a rather firm tannic grip that might surprise you at first. Acidity levels are on the higher side, what is typical for Teran, known for its freshness. Due to that, Teran from the harvest 2020 will very easily last quite long, until 2025. For sure this is a modern version of Istrian Teran showing even more aspiration than before. Will please younger generation and restaurants who want a nice drinkable wine by the glass.

Teran is known as a good companion of red meat and grilled meat. Cheeses as well, or pasta with meat sauces. You surely will not make a mistake if choosing Teran as a companion to typical Istrian inlands meal.

Perfect to drink from 2021 to 2025.
