For the first time ever, Santa Lucia Teran 2017 is available for purchase<\/a>. This wine reflects years of patience, thoughtful work and care. It is the first vintage of Teran from our vineyard planted in 2014 at the very top of the Santa Lucia site \u2014 on flysch soil, spanning just 1.5 hectares. From this inaugural harvest we produced one thousand bottles, with the goal of finding the ideal position to achieve perfectly ripe Teran grapes. Today, we are proud to feel that we have succeeded.<\/p>\n

Teran is a strong and demanding variety, but in this interpretation we have preserved its wild character while making it elegant and approachable. Inspired by Danijela Kramari\u0107\u2019s tasting notes: “in the glass it shows a dark, almost opaque garnet colour with a purple hue, and the first aromas reveal ink, cherries in alcohol, dark chocolate, plums and orange peel, alongside notes of leather, herbs, smoke and subtle spice. On the palate, the wine is full and robust yet balanced, with a velvety touch and complete dryness. Its lively freshness and fine-grained tannins allow the flavour to unfold across the palate, leaving a long, lingering finish.”<\/p>\n
