On Thursday, April 11th , in the Le Bistro / Hotel Esplanade we invited distributors and buyers to taste Malvazija 2018. Menu created by the chef Ana Grgić showed versatility of young Malvazija, while at the end we served the bottle from 2012 to show how well she can age.
Menu:
Welcome: Sheep cheese from island of Pag / marmalade and red cabbage jelly / white aceto balsamico pearls / olive oil
First course: salted sea bass marinated in parsley juice / crunchy chorizo / chorizo aioli
Second course: grilled asparagus with shrimps in lardo / kadaiff / trout caviar / olive oil
Dessert: Maringue with lemon cream / strawberries / mint.
