Winemaker's notes:

The colour of Svinjon 2019 is pale lemon with green tinges. The nose is youthful, quite intense, displaying a nice spectrum of fruity, juicy perfumes in the style of green melon, apricots, combed with slightly vegetal undertones of gooseberry and tomato leaves. Off-dry on the palate, with acidities on the lower side. Still we can sense plenty of freshness in the wine, mostly in the form of gentle C02 bubbles, nicely prickling on the palate. There is an obvious texture in this medium bodied wine displaying a nice play between the freshness of Sauvignon Blanc balance and fruitiness and opulence of the Malvasia Istriana which are the mother and the father of the blend. Finish is nice, and medium long.

Combining with food:

Being slightly bigger with moderately intense character, it will go very well with grilled fish, pasta, gnocchi.

Potencijal starenja:

Enjoyable throughout 2020 and well into 2021.
