Winemaker's notes:

Transparent and clear lemon yellow colour, medium strong with a touch of green. Intensive scent, predominantly herbal, on a cut grass, with traces of green peppers, asparagus, grapefruit and citrus fruits, even a touch of passion fruit. Later on, as wine starts to breath, primary herbal aromas fade, minerality comes to the surface, resembling the smell of the sea or slate. On the palate, freshness and herbal grassiness alike on the nose, at the beginning in particular. In the middle, but especially at finish, flavours are taken by lime, grapefruit and gooseberry which, in combination with saltiness, create an overall impression of the aftertaste. Wine has a medium body and moderate alcohols that support the freshness as a main characteristic. Intensity of flavour and scent are both outstanding and steadfast.

Combining with food:

Younger goat cheeses, goat fresh cheese/ricotta, salads with turkey and chicken, asparagus dishes (from soups to pasta). With fish, in particular see bas and white fish with a discrete flavour. With river fish – perch. Also mussels and shells in general. Quiche and vegetarian lasagne.
