Winemaker`s notes:

Primarily fruity aroma. Cranberries and wild strawberries are dominant, followed by attractive Muscat notes. The taste is primarily fruity, then fresh, then sweet. As opposed to other Muscats, the tannins are nicely distinguished here, due to which, as well as the pleasant acidity, this wine has excellent structure and much more long-lasting body. The finish is characterized by pleasantly bitter tones, categorizing this wine with all the above as a wine served with main courses rather than with the expected deserts.

Combining with food:

Not too spicy Chinese dishes with sweet and sour sauces. Lighter Thai dishes based on chicken and pork in richer and sweeter sauces. Fresh fruit like strawberries.

Ageing potential:

best between now and late 2014
