Winemaker`s notes:

Light reddish colour with nuances of pink. Exceptionally attractive smell of a mostly fruity character with soft flowery undertones. Dried cranberries are the dominant smell, followed by the soft tones of wild strawberries, a hint of flowers and ending with Muscat. The smell is very rich and stable, simultaneously very seductive and elegant. Does not give the impression of being perfumed, but delicate, pleasant and primarily attractive. The taste is also of a mostly fruity character. Pretty sweet, but simultaneously has the freshness of balanced acidity. Unlike other fresh Muscat roses, it has a solid structure guaranteeing safe several years-long ageing. The initial sweetness and middle fruitiness develop into a delicious aftertaste which is actually the most memorable part of the experience. Without even a hint of bitter notes often present in rose wines, it is clean, fruity, delicious and long-lasting irresistibly inviting to another sip.

Combining with food:

Not too spicy Chinese dishes with sweet and sour sauces. Lighter Thai dishes based on chicken and pork in richer and sweeter sauces. Fresh fruit like strawberries.

Ageing potential:

2012 - 2015

  • Gold medal: "Vinistra" / 2012
