Winemaker`s notes:

Exceptionally dark and deep red colour. Intense and very nice smell. Spicy herbal character with the slightest hint of fruity. Reminiscent of the classical left coast Bordeaux, most of all Graves. Fine dusty earth tones intertwined with nuances of pepper and traces of cardamom, coffee and cedar. Somewhat different taste. Mostly spicy character supported with the fruitiness and freshness of blackcurrant. Very elegant on the palate, but at the same time very stable, with ideally dosed acids and solid tannins. The aftertaste is a special category, because it is only here that the intense fruitiness of blackcurrant is revealed, lingering in the mouth long after tasting.

Combining with food:

Mellowed and juicy grilled red meat like beefsteak, due to lively acids also with roast duck or rump steak.
