Winemaker`s notes:

Very intense and very attractive Muscat smell dominated by the aroma of Muscat grapes mixed with sweet fruity tones like watermelon and meadow flowers. The taste is very nice. The first impression is that of sweetness, but already in the middle the lively note of playful acids kicks in, fusing with the unfermented sugar towards the end, making the aftertaste pleasantly delicious. The taste lingers long and a mineral salty note appears in the aftertaste adding an additional nuance to the wine's complexity, depriving it of all banality so frequently seen in this variety.

Combining with food:

Apple pie. Panna cotta. Lemon, pineapple, apple, apricot and pear pies with or without crème anglaise (crema pasticera). Young and mild cow cheeses. Fresh goat cheeses.

Ageing potential:

best between now and late 2015
