Winemaker`s notes:

Clear straw-yellow colour with abundant pale-green streaks. Exceptionally attractive and rich smell which is a combination of a plethora of aromas. From the, at the first glance, dominant aroma of Muscat grapes, through seductive tones of elder flower and syrup, to fruitiness of candied apples and candied citrus peels. The taste is sweet, with excellently balanced freshness in the beginning, minerality in the middle and delicious fruitiness in the end. Good structure and body and untypically for Muscats, very long aftertaste. Owing to the unusual combination of minerality, freshness and sweetness, this wine certainly belongs to the very top of the global Muscat scene, both quality wise and due to the rarity of expression.

Combining with food:

Apple pie. Lemon, pineapple, apple, apricot and pear pies with or without crème anglaise (crema pasticera). Cherry cake Glajgeviht and other light cakes of that type. Young and mild cow cheeses.

Ageing potential:

best between now and late 2013
