Winemaker`s notes:

Exceptionally attractive smell. Especially for lovers of aged wines. Dominant soft notes of the sherry character. Very pleasantly combined with ripe pear notes, with a hint of anise and very old brandy. The wine which requires time to open up and almost room temperature for its fine tertiary notes to be best savoured. The taste is very harmonious, soft, rich, delicious, with a hint of bitter at the end. Acidity finely dosed, still leaving the impression of freshness in the aftertaste, which is exceptionally long lasting and of specifically vanilla-spicy-mineral character.

Combining with food:

Ripe cheese with walnut dressing, cold salads with white meat.

Aging potential:

best from now until 2014
