Winemaker`s notes:

The smell is dominated by the freshness of apples and herbal notes, combined with attractive fruity pineapple and the finishing hint of spicy clove. The aroma is somewhat reminiscent of the best aged Rebula wines of the Goriška Brda hills. Very rich and stable. The taste is a combination of excellently integrated oak, intense minerality, light tannins and a long finish with slight bitter tones. All the fullness of its richness is only revealed after tasting, because it is only then that the deliciousness comes as a consequence of richness of extracts combined with ideally measured acids, followed by minerality discerned through the final, fine, salty-spicy note.

Combining with food:

White fish in sauce, all types of shells, Red scorpionfish medallions, John Dory, baked vegetables, lighter main courses based on meat like veal.

Aging potential:

Best from now until 2016
