Winemaker`s notes:

In the beginning intense attractive sweetish honey aroma paling after a couple of minutes in the glass, leaving the primacy to fruity notes, the most prominent of which is that of pineapple. It is followed by fine barrique notes reminiscent of pine tree, with a hint of acacia, peach and apricot. The taste is strong, but not due to alcohol, but rather owing to a combination of exceptional minerality and spicy barrique notes. Ripe, full-bodied and rich wine. Delicious and soft in the beginning. Intensely mineral in the middle, literally as if you touched your tongue with sandpaper, and with a spicy hot finish. Salty delicious aftertaste lingers for over a minute. In the coming years, this already excellent wine, will gain new aromas, making it softer and livelier.

Combining with food:

Interlarded roast, white meat with onion based sauces, stronger pasta (not with red sauces though), fish grilled or in sauce with potatoes and rosemary.

Aging potential:

best between 2013 - 2018
